Why Batanes?
A friend, Eve, was going and I tagged along. I acted like a brat on this trip just because I have a fear of traveling by sea and part of the tour was going to this other island called Sabtang.
How did you get here?
From Manila to Basco it was by plane and from Basco to Sabtang it was by boat.
How much did that cost you?
The plane ride was Php6176 while the tour was probably Php8k

Eve and I stayed at Batanes Seaside as part of the tour package

What did you eat?
Breakfast was at the inn, lunch was during the tour so sometimes we’ll stop by the side of the road to eat, nothing fancy. The best meal was when we had dinner at this house/resto, it had a real home-y vibe and the food was good. There’s also a store call Honesty, no one mans it and you pretty much leave your cash when paying.
What did you do here?
Hiked, ate, sight-seeing.
What’s the one thing you recommend/most memorable moment in this place?
Go to Sabtang, even if the boat ride scares you.
