It was winter time when I decided to visit Osaka, coming from a tropical country I wish the weather could’ve been warmer. Note to self when buying promo fares, check the weather first before paying. I basically went on a self-proclaimed food crawl on this trip, not that I’m complaining.
Have sushi in one of the restaurants in Namba walk
Order King Crab at Kanidouraku Dotombori-Honten
Grab some udon (this was near HEP Five) and the best I’ve had so far
The highlight of this trip (imho), Pablo cheesecake (raw)
Have some some ice cream while you’re at it (first time to try matcha flavor and it wasn’t that bad!)
Or if you’re feeling healthy, go for fresh strawberries (yeah, I bought these too…after I had ice cream)
And on my way home, a breakfast meal from McDonald’s (thumbs up for their Bacon & Egg w/ cheese McGriddle)
And not to be a complete glutton but I did get to see some sights…
Nagai Botanical Garden (it rained for a while and we had to seek shelter in the nearby building)
Sakuya Konohana Kan
Aaand of course, Osaka Castle
