Why Pandin Lake?
It’s close to where I live and I don’t need to fly there (I’m in saving-mode)
How did you get here?
By car
How much did that cost you?
About Php500 for gas and toll, details here
Where did you stay?
No need, it was a day trip
How many nights did you stay?
As above
How much was your accommodation?
–
What did you eat?
I really wanted to eat on a raft, you pay Php360 and it covers the ride (2hrs) and meal consisting of fish, shrimp, rice, and a bottle of water. Alas, I didn’t know you need to make reservations so we ended up having lunch at Cibo & Bella in San Pablo City.
What did you do here?
A bit of hiking, it rained a bit and I forgot to bring my umbrella, tons of sightseeing but beware of cow (?) poop along the way.
What’s the one thing you recommend/most memorable moment in this place?
Pandin Lake can be accessed via different roads (so I’ve been told), go past the sign that says “Pandin Lake” and park in the closest available area. I knew there were parking lots but kinda expected it’d be cemented (like those in the malls) but it wasn’t, it really is just an empty lot with locals guarding the place/your car.
