Who: Me and two of my friends, Roc and Red.
What: You might think Corregidor Island is part of Bataan but actually it isn’t, it’s part of Cavite. It is located at the entry point of Manila Bay so during World War 2 it was fortified with heavy artillery to defend the attacks of the enemy. I went here when I was in high school and we pretty much did the same things today although we didn’t get to visit the bloodstone beach.
7:30am – Boarding at Sun Cruises terminal in MOA
8:00am – Catamaran left for Corregidor Island
9:30am – Arrived in island, start of tour
11:15am – Lunch (buffet), there was a welcome drink, salad, dessert bar (fruit salad & fresh watermelon), minestrone soup, and for mains there were fried cream dory, chicken provençale, buttered veggies, rice.
2:30pm – End of tour, ride back to MOA
4:00pm – Back at terminal
And then we had quick dinner at Razon’s before going home (Php175 fried chicken + Php110 halo-halo). All in all we paid Php2,749 for the tour (lunch buffet included) per person, Php200 for the lights & sound show, Php30 for the terminal fee, and Php30 for the parking fee.
Where: Seaside Blvd, Pasay, Metro Manila (MOA)
