Who: Is it still a surprise that I went with my friend and her boyfriend? Single life ftw LOL.
What: Salcedo Weekend Market is open every Saturday and is considered to be one of the largest weekend markets in the Philippines (or so it says in their website). I was supposed to meet my friend at 10am but I was a couple minutes late. I really wanted to eat some balls, lobster and scallop balls (LOL) and how I wish I was able to take a photo but typical me I forgot and ate them all up. So 1 order costs Php200 and it had 1 scallop ball and 4 lobster balls – I must say the one I had at Festival Mall was better (the sauce was thicker) and it was only Php150. Aside from that I also bought a serving of Margarita’s Paella for Php250, a bit pricey but it was a good enough serving but didn’t like it that much tbh, too rich for my taste. I also had sorbetes, 3 scoops for Php50, it had cheese, chocolate, and avocado flavour (didn’t taste the avocado). I parked at the office so no fee but toll was Php118 one way (damn you, Skyway). By 12nn I was home and eating the rest of my scallop balls and paella.

Where: Salcedo Village, Makati
