Who: Co-workers, Loi and Kat. Loi recently got out of a relationship so she has free time to hang out while Kat is in a relationship but didn’t have plans yesterday
What: We’ve been planning on going to Tagaytay for a while now, actually we initially planned on going to the beach this holiday weekend (Independence day) but schedules didn’t permit us. So what’s the next best thing? Road trip to Tagaytay.
Loi had work until 1pm that day so we ended up leaving around 3pm, thankfully the traffic wasn’t bad, we exited at Carmona and took Governor’s Drive and arrived close to 5pm (I think). It was raining however so when we got to Tagaytay fog creeped in and had I not been behind the wheel I would’ve taken a photo. It was eerie and comforting at the same time, I know, odd.
We had late lunch at Bulalo Point, as recommended by Ray (I think, also a co-worker) and we had bulalo (yuuuum, as expected), tawilis (so-so, we didn’t finish it), and sisig (meh). All in all we paid about Php1k. Afterwards we went to Bag of Beans (Athena branch) for coffee and cake, unlimited coffee and blueberry cheesecake (of course) which totalled to about Php350. But the best part in going to BOB? The view and convos. The place had the view of Taal Lake, by the side of the mountain (it looked like), surrounded by nature. I loved the interior, it was rustic and homey all at the same time.

We left at 8pm-sh and dropped by a friend’s house in Biñan and by 11pm we called it a night.
Where: Tagaytay, Bulalo Point, Bag of Beans (Athena)
