Paris’ Point Zero

I first heard about it while reading Stephanie Perkins’ novel called Anna and The French Kiss. In it she talked about her protagonists going to this place. Incidentally, the first time I went to Paris I didn’t get to see it because there wasn’t much time but I made sure the next time I visit I’ll get to go.

From our visit to Vicomte we headed straight to Notre Dame to see point zero (note: there’s nothing more romantic than seeing Paris light up at night).

There it is. They say it brings good luck ❤
Notre Dame. Interestingly enough I’ve never been inside.

While walking from the Louvre to the metro that’ll take you to Notre Dame you get to see this ❤

This is actually a government institution but I can’t remember what it was, maybe Defense? Update: upon checking it turns out to be the site of their State Police

Cité station. Look at those lamp posts and the rails of the stairs, they’re antique!
