“Let’s find some beautiful place to get lost.”
I’ve had some of the best and worst days of my life in the last 80 hours, a bit OA but since day 1 of our trip I’ve had migraine (maybe it was because I didn’t have proper coffee) but it got so bad I skipped half of our 2nd day tour. But when I think of the things I’ve seen and places I’ve been, it ALMOST makes the pain worth it.
I found the tour agency on Facebook, it was rated 5.0 but to be honest I can’t figure out why it was rated that way. I guess the Tour Coordinator was coordinating enough but having gone through it our accommodation could’ve been better (side note, perhaps if we paid our downpayment earlier than Jan we would’ve gotten better rooms). It was a joiner tour so naturally other people were with us, 20 pax total during days 2 and 3.
Day 1 – we went on a private tour of the town and I must say the highlight was climbing Mt. Tapyas. A total of 700+ steps and grabe sa pagod but the view wipes it all away. I’m only sad I didn’t get to see the sunset coz clouds got in the way.
Day 2 – our tour started at 9am, I didn’t get to join Siete Pecados and Kayangan Lake because my head was pounding like crazy but I managed to join the first couple destinations. This day was medyo intense with all the swimming and hiking, I wish I was in better condition if I’m being honest.
Day 3 – we were picked up early this day but ended up waiting at the boat for about an hour. To say I enjoyed this day is an understatement, never mind the fact that I still had a headache (no thanks to snoring friends, LOL, peace!), or the fact that I didn’t complete day 2’s tour. It was luck that we left late because we had to rearrange our destinations to avoid the people so our first stop became Malcapuya Island. I can’t even put to words what I did and how I felt that day, for Php100 I held onto a piece of rope attached to a boat and was lightly dragged to the middle of the ocean (I exaggerate, it wasn’t the middle). Once we stopped I saw the biggest live clams I’ve seen in my life, clearest waters, fed tons of fish and didn’t freak out! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience. The rest of the day we went beach hopping, nothing out of the ordinary, if ordinary meant the finest sands and bluest of ocean.
Day 4 – time to go home!
