“Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.” – Dalai Lama
First order of business, din-din at Alavar Seafood Restaurant. It was literally finger-lickin’ good. We arrived close to 8pm and went straight to this place. Best to have reservations.

Day 2 we set out bright and early to set out for Malamawi. I had to get used to tons of military presence in the city, more so as we got around our tours. Other than that it was business as usual. This has got to be the best day out of the entire trip.

So many boat rides. Luckily, Roc’s from Zamboanga and he’s been here before so he knew where we had to go.

Oh, hello, Coast Guard.
Finally, we arrive.

What a view. Thank goodness for good weather.

Some random shots with the group.

We went back to the city after a quick day trip in Malamawi and went around the square for a bit.

To be honest at this point I forgot the order of the things we did and places we went so I’m just dumping everything LOL.

This was really fun, we went to a lagoon from Pink Island aboard a yellow boat complete with tour guide. We were the only ones there, very quiet and serene, and we even got to play with stingless jellyfish. And then we ate them. Kidding.
This was supposed to be Pink Island, made pink by crushed up red corals. They’re not really pink in person, not in the very least.
