It’s midnight, and I’m still wide awake after an unforgettable evening, watching Hamilton on Broadway and seeing Times Square alive and buzzing. The towering LED screens lit up the night, and the streets overflowed with energy.
I bawled my eyes out during Hamilton, sang along from memory, laughed out loud and while nothing beats the original cast, tonight’s performance surpassed all my expectations.
They say New York is the city that never sleeps, and tonight proved it true. Everywhere I looked felt like an adrenaline rush. After the show, I stopped by a dim sum place, and even on my walk to the station, people were still out dragging suitcases, taking photos, soaking in the spring night. The rain had stopped, the air was crisp, and it felt like the whole city was taking a deep breath together.
What an absolute memory, this night will stay with me. New York has a way of breathing life back into even the most tired, monotonous routines.
